Railway deal reaches USD11.6b in China's Yangtze River Delta
(MENAFN)China projects to allocate more than 75 billion Yuan (about USD11.6 billion) for railway infrastructure building in its Yangtze River Delta in 2021.
China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. stated that it will start the building of 11 new railway schemes in the area that covers Shanghai and the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui.
By 2025, the delta area is anticipated to have 17,000 km of rail lines in service, counting 9,500 km of high-speed railway.
