Shmyhal hopes e-services will be mutually recognized between Ukraine and EU


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal hopes that electronic trust services between the European Union and Ukraine will be mutually recognized in the coming years.

He wrote about this on his Telegram channel after a meeting with Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice President of the European Commission for a Europe Fit for the Digital Age.

"The European Commission provides consistent support to government initiatives, in particular, promotes the development of e-government in Ukraine. Our goal is integration into the EU digital market. And we look forward to mutual recognition of e-trust services in the coming years," the prime minister wrote.

Shmyhal also stressed that the future lies in digital technologies. During the meeting with Vestager, they discussed the common digital future of Ukraine and the EU.
