Look: UAE's highest mountain Jebel Jais as never seen before
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The UAE's Jebel Jais is a visual treat. Located 2,000 metres above the sea level, it's a popular weekend (and weekday) getaway with its winding roads and picturesque views.
In addition to breathtaking views, the peak is home to the world's longest zipline .
The UAE's KhalifaSat has captured the majestic peak in all its glory.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre used #WorldsCoolestWinter as it posted the image. The hashtag refers to a domestic tourism drive that encourages residents to explore the UAE's hidden gems this winter.
The post comes days after the KhalifaSat gave a bird's eye view of Dubai's Love Lake .
KhalifaSat is a 100 per cent Emirati-made satellite that was launched to space in October 2018.
