Iran, Iraq signed memorandum of understanding on Wednesday


(MENAFN)Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian, who is the head of the mentioned committee, declared that Iran and Iraq signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on economic collaboration on Wednesday, at the end of the fourth assembly of both countries’ Joint Economic Committee.

The MOU holds collaboration in several areas, he further said.

He added that the two-day assembly gave very fruitful talks for the two sides and is estimated to support the interests of the two countries.

He stated that technical committees were established in several business fields to talk about technical and engineering services and other topics of interest, adding, the assembly also planned and supported the establishment of a joint investment fund amid both countries and manages to persist its path.
