Maldives applies obligatory quarantine for arrivals from UK
(MENAFN) Local media revealed on Monday, December 28, that the Maldives has made it obligatory for all employees arriving from UK to undertake home quarantine for 10 days.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) made the decision in order to defend the island country from a new and more infectious strain of coronavirus recognized in UK.
Quarantine will also be obligatory for people who have visited the UK 14 days prior to arrival or transferred in the country for more than 12 hours.
