Greece suffers 53 COVID-19 deaths, 342 infections

ANKARA, Dec 27 (KUNA) -- Greece's National Public Health Organization (NPHO) said Sunday that 342 persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), raising the caseload to 135,456.
Fifty-three more fatalities from the illness over the past 24 hours raised the death toll to 4,606, Athens News Agency reported, citing a statement by the NPHO.
Meanwhile, 857 patients have recovered while 469 others, including 150 women, are still on respirators at ICUs, according to the statement. (end)
