Syria: Young, men, women come together to aid coronavirus patients
(MENAFN) A couple of young people were actively getting phone calls and noting down information concerning coronavirus patients in need of aid in a small space in one of Syrian capital, Damascus' neighborhoods.
Dozens of young men and women, along with doctors have united to offer help for people struggling with coronavirus and to alleviate the weight on hospitals in what has as a name Aqemha, or sanitize it, and Sammat Hakeem, Arabic for doctor's stethoscope.
Aqemha group was launched months ago by people volunteering from universities, providing sterilization in public areas, houses, and schools. The group also aids people with oxygen shortage by guaranteeing oxygen cylinders for free.
