Kuwait- Turkey's coronavirus tally tops two million cases, deaths near 18,000

ANKARA, Dec 19 (KUNA) -- Turkish Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca said Saturday that 22,195 coronavirus cases have been registered over the past 24 hours, bringing the country's caseload to 2,004,285.
As many as 241 patients have succumbed to the respiratory illness, raising the death toll to 17,851, he said in a statement, cited by Anadolu Agency.
The recoveries surged by 25,516 to 1779068, Koca added. (end)
