ABU DHABI, Dec 13 (KUNA) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) registered on Sunday 1,194 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 184,949, said the Ministry of Health and Prevention in a press statement.
The ministry announced eight deaths due to the novel coronavirus complications, bringing the total number of deaths to 617.
It also noted that an additional 631 individuals had fully recovered from the coronavirus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 163,679.
