Iran: Gholam-Hossein Jamili believes to move toward capital system
(MENAFN)Directing the country"s monetary system towards a capital system could redirect limited financial resources to riches creation and reduce inflation, as believe Gholam-Hossein Jamili, a member of the board of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA).
He further said that, "Now that the government has targeted a 22-percent inflation rate for the next [Iranian calendar] year (begins on March 21, 2021), the first step in achieving this goal is to guide the monetary system towards a capital system based on providing accurate statistics and information."
The official declared that, by the way, the role of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) is very vital and so it can direct the limited financial resources that subsist in the country in the optimal direction."
Directing the monetary system to the capital system can cause limited financial resources to be used to generate wealth, and this will result in less inflationary effects in the country, which the central bank is trying to achieve."
