Sri Lanka to lift isolation restrictions in several areas of Colombo and Gampaha


(MENAFN- NewsIn.Asia) Colombo, November 22 (newsin.asia) - The National Operations Center for the Prevention of the spread of Covid-19 has announced that the isolation of police divisions in the following districts will be lifted from 5 am tomorrow (23).

Colombo District: Borella, Wellampitiya, Colombo Fort, Slave Island.

The Wekanda Grama Niladari Division in the Slave Island Police Area and Wanathamulla Grama Niladari Division in the Borella Police Area will continue to remain in isolation until further notice.

Gampaha District: Ja - Ela and Kadawatha.

The following isolated police divisions will remain under isolation until further notice:

Colombo District: Dam Street, Pettah, Maradana, Mattakkuliya, Modara, Grandpass, Bluemendhal, Kotahena, Fort Shore, Adirippu Street, Keselwatta, Maligawatta and Dematagoda, police areas

Gampaha District: Ragama, Negombo, Wattala, Peliyagoda, and Kelaniya police areas

The following Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Kalutara district belong to the Bandaragama Police Division are designated as isolated areas from this moment until further notice.

Kalutara District: Bogahawatta, Bamunumulla Muslim Area, Hirimanthudawa, Korawala, Atalugama West, and Bamunumulla, Galahamandiya Grama Niladari Divisions.
