Russian actor Grebenshchikov denied entry to Ukraine for three years


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian actor Kirill Grebenshchikov has been banned from entering Ukraine for three years for illegally visiting Russian-occupied Crimea, Ukrainian State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andriy Demchenko has told Ukrinform.

"Kirill Grebenshchikov arrived at the Boryspil airport on a flight from Minsk. According to the man, he planned to participate in TV filming. During a border check, officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine found out that the actor had illegally visited the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, where he took part in the filming," Demchenko said.

According to him, by visiting Crimea, the actor violated the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

Ukrainian border guards banned Grebenshchikov from entering Ukraine for three years and sent him on a return flight to Belarus.
