(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) A Maximum Retail Price (MRP) has been imposed on several varieties of rice.

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) said the MRP will be imposed from midnight tonight (Wednesday).

Accordingly, Samba will be sold at Rs 94 per kilogram, Raw Samba at Rs 94 per kilogram, Nadu at Rs 92 per kilogram and Raw rice at Rs 89 per kilogram.
