Houthi drone intercepted by Saudi-led coalition in Yemen
(MENAFN) Houthis militia launched a bomb-laden drone in Yemen, with a Saudi-led coalition involved in the war there intercepting the attack on Sunday.
The Saudi Press Agency cited Turki Al Maliki, an official for the coalition as saying that the drone that was targeting the kingdom was destroyed in Yemen on Sunday afternoon.
The coalition announced earlier the interception of another bomb-laden drone launched toward the southern region of the kingdom in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The attacks were part of a series of such attempts, most of which were foiled before reaching their targets.
