Qatar- QU postpones French Cultural Week event
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: Pursuant to the latest developments, the Qatar University administration decided to postpone the event of French Cultural Week for an indefinite period of time, QU has announced on its Twitter handle.
'In this regard, the university administration affirms that any prejudice to the Islamic faith, sanctity and symbols is completely unacceptable, as these offences harm the universal human values and the high moral principles that all contemporary societies affirm, said QU on its Twitter account.
