Jordan- Churches to resume prayers as of Thursday
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 30 (Petra) -- Payers in all churches of Jordan, will be resumed as of Thursday, with full commitment to wearing masks, gloves, physical distancing, Head of the Jordan Churches Council, Christophoros Attallah, announced on Wednesday.
"Any church that reports Covid-19 infections will be closed for a period specified by the government," Attallah said in joint press briefing in the Prime Ministry.
He pointed out that the Churches Council circulated to each church the specific procedures that must be adhered to when receiving worshipers.
Churches will also host various events provided that no festivities is held with no more than 20 people to attend, Attallah confirmed.
