
UAE health ministry officials receive first dose of Covid-19 vaccine
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Senior UAE Ministry off Health officials received a dose of a Covid-19 vaccine on Monday.
The three officials are Dr Hussein AlRand, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for the Health Centers and Clinics Sector;Awad AlKetbi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector; and Dr Yousef Al Serkal, Director General of the Emirates Corporation for Health Services and Assistant Undersecretary for the Hospital Sector.
AbdulRahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on Saturday.
The minister received the jab in line with the Ministry of Health and Prevention's (Mohap) move to administer the vaccine to frontline health workers, who are at a higher risk of contracting the virus.
