Myanmar agricultural exports hit over USD3.6 billion

Data released by the Myanmar Commerce Ministry on Monday showed that the country saw more than USD3.61 billion from agricultural exports in more than 11 months of the current fiscal year (FY) 2019-2020.
The agricultural exports of the current fiscal year expanded USD500 million in comparison to the same period a year ago 2018-2019 as it logged more than USD3.11 billion.
As of the 11th of September of the current FY, Myanmar saw over USD16.7 billion from the total exports.
Rice and broken rice, pulses and beans and maize were mostly exported in the agricultural sector as fruits and vegetables, sesame, dried tea leaves, sugar and other agricultural goods were as well exported to other countries.
