Malaysia confirms six new coronavirus infections


(MENAFN) Based on a statement issued on Saturday the Malaysian Ministry of Health, the overall figure of patients who have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus across the nation has risen to 9,391, after six more cases reported over the past 24 hours.

At a daily news release, Health Ministry Director-General Noor Hisham declared that four of the new cases are imported whereas two are local.

Another 21 cases of COVID-19 patients had been cured and discharged, bringing the total to 9,113 , or 97 percent of all cases.

Of the remaining 150 active cases in the country, five are being held in intensive care and three of those are in need of assisted breathing.
