Over 42,000 total coronavirus cases reported in Ethiopia

The health ministry of Ethiopia said on Monday that the total number of coronavirus cases across the country stood at 42,143 following the diagnoses of 1,472 cases.

According to a statement released by the ministry, 14 more patients have died due to the disease in the earlier 24 hours, which has increased the total number of deaths across the country to 692.

The ministry said that around 15,262 patients who were diagnosed with the disease have recovered, with 267 of them recovering in the earlier 24 hours.

According to the ministry, 26,187 more cases remain active and are currently receiving treatment, with 275 of them in serious conditions.
