Thousands tune in to Qatar's first virtual fashion show
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Audiences from around the world tuned into Qatar's first virtual fashion show on Thursday, August 6. Hosted by Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) in collaboration with United Development Company (UDC), the show featured leading local and international designers The Project, Per Lei Couture, Ashwa Fashion and Youssef Al Jasmi in the ready-to-wear, menswear and evening wear categories, along with abaya brand Shades.
The show began with a tribute to the people of Lebanon in the wake of last Tuesday's tragedy in Beirut. Set against the scenic backdrop of The Pearl-Qatar, the virtual show was the opening event of the Qatar Summer Programme, a vibrant line-up of offers and activations arranged by QNTC for residents to enjoy during the summer holidays.
The programme brings residents a host of hospitality deals and promotions on cultural activities and outdoor adventures. For additional details on staycation offers, one can visit Qatar Staycation .
