Palestine records 514 new COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN) The combined figure of patients who have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Palestine has amounted to 17,948 as 514 more cases were reported over the past 24 hours ending on Saturday in the West Bank, the country's Health Ministry revealed in a statement.

Based on a confirmation made in Ramallah by the Health Minister Mai al-Kaila,"Since March 5, the ministry has recorded 17,948 infections, including 97 deaths and 9,543 recoveries, and 8,308 cases are still receiving medical care at home or in hospitals."

"A total of 11 cases in critical conditions are in the intensive care units in different hospitals in the West Bank," said the minister who called on the Palestinian citizens to abide by the health ministry's safety instructions.
