Palestine confirms 514 new coronavirus infections
(MENAFN) Palestinian health ministry declared on Friday, August 7, 514 new coronavirus infections and three new fatalities, taking the count of cases in the Palestinian territories to 17,948 and the fatalities to 97.
Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila told a news meeting in Ramallah "Since March 5, the ministry has recorded 17,948 infections, including 97 deaths and 9,543 recoveries, and 8,308 cases are still receiving medical care at home or in hospitals".
The minister who demanded the Palestinian people to obey the health ministry's safety orders stated: "A total of 11 cases in critical conditions are in the intensive care units in different hospitals in the West Bank".
