244 more positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Palestine, total in 16,024


(MENAFN) The combined figure of patients who have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Palestine has amounted to 16,024, as 244 more cases were reported over the past 24 hours as of Tuesday in the West Bank, the country's Health Ministry revealed in a statement.

The health ministry further included that 527 cases were recently discharged from hospitals after showing improvement, bringing the total cured cases to 7,191.

In the meantime, the national toll of lives that have been claimed due the pandemic of the virus across the country has remained unaffected at 87 as no more deaths were reported amid the state period.
