Mongolia adds two more coronavirus infections

The National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) of Mongolia said on Wednesday that the country saw twe more coronavirus case in the previous 24 hours, which has raised the total number of cases across the country to 291.

Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, head of the NCCD, said during a press conference that "a total of 686 tests for COVID-19 were conducted across the country yesterday and one of them was positive".

The most recent confirmed case is one of the more than 260 Mongolian nationals who recently came back from Europe of a charted flight on Monday, the official said.

Adding that 3 more patients have recovered from the virus since 24 hours ago, raising the total number of recoveries to 225.

The NCCD said that the entire 291 cases reported in the country are imported, as they are mostly from Russia.
