(MENAFN- Afghanistan Times) AT News
KABUL: De Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat, a government power producing company, has said that Tajikistan reduced electricity supply to Afghanistan.
Breshna said in a statement that Dushanbe reduced the 350 megawatt power to 40 due to the lower surface of water. To meet the needs of the Afghan citizens, the company said it has been negotiating with the Uzbekistan authorities to provide more power supply for Afghanistan.
Afghanistan does not have enough power and it mostly depends on power from the central Asian countries; Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
