Cambodia enjoys increase in its rubber exports

A General Directorate of Rubber report on Monday said that the total dry rubber exports of Cambodia has reached 123,151 tons in the starting half of the current year, expanding 18 percent in comparison to the same period a year ago.

The country saw a total of USD160.7million in gross revenue from exports of the commodity in the period, expanding 15 percent since the same period a year ago.

It said that "a ton of dry rubber averagely cost 1,305 U.S. dollars in the first semester of 2020, about 33 dollars lower than that of the first semester of 2019".

Cambodia exports rubber mostly to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and China.
