218,717 total COVID-19 infections reported in Turkey

Fahrettin Koca, the health minister of Turkey, said on Sunday that the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country rose 1,148 in the earlier 24 hours as 19 more patients have died due to the infection.
The total number of COVID-19 infections across the country has increased to 180,680 as the number of deaths increased to 5,225, the minister wrote on Twitter.
The official also added that 1,179 more patients have recovered from the disease in the earlier 24 hours, increasing the total number of coronavirus recoveries to 201,013.
According to the minister, health authorities have conducted 40,943 coronavirus tests in the earlier day, as the total number of coronavirus tests across the country increased to 3,630,480.
