Mongolia records zero new COVID-19 cases, 2 new recoveriesm


(MENAFN) According to a statement issued on Sunday by the Mongolian National Center for Communicable disease (NCCD), the overall tally of patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus across the state has stayed unaffected at 287, as no more cases were reported during the last 24-hour period.

At a regular news briefing, the NCCD's head Dulmaa Nyamkhuu revealed "There have been no local transmissions or deaths reported in Mongolia so far."

The center"s statement further included that a number of 213 patients have so far won the battle against the brutal coronavirus infection and been accordingly discharged from hospitals, with the number including two reported in the previous 24 hours, adding that all the confirmed cases in the East Asian nation are imported from the overseas, mostly from Russia.
