Oman registers 1,889 new coronavirus infections, 53,614 in total
(MENAFN) The Omani health ministry stated on Friday 1,889 new coronavirus infections, increasing the total reported infections in the country to 53,614.
The ministry said in a report, the new infections included 1,268 Omanis and 621 non-Omanis.
According to the ministry report, in the meantime, eight new mortalities were registered; carrying the fatalities to 244, while the score of recovered infections increased by 1,204 to 34,225.
The statement noted, with 4,574 tests for coronavirus conducted in the past 24 hours, the total number of tests in Oman has augmented to 231,211.
