Israel includes 204 more infections of COVID-19


(MENAFN) The combined figure of patients who have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Israel has amounted to 30,162, as 204 more cases were reported over the past 24 hours as of Monday, marking the highest daily national record of cases, the country's Health Ministry revealed in a statement.

Based on the ministerial statement, the number of lives that have been claimed due to the COVID-19 rose by one to 332, whereas the number of patients who are in serious condition dropped from 86 to 90.

The number of recoveries rose by 24 to 17,974, while the number of active cases reached 11,856, the highest since the state was first hit by the pandemic.

Following the recent significant increase in morbidity, the Israeli military decided to reduce soldiers' leave, as soldiers in combat units could leave bases only once in every 21 days.
