472 more people confirmed as positive COVID-19 cases in Palestine


(MENAFN) The combined figure of patients who have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Palestine has amounted to 4,722, as 472 more cases were reported over the past 24 hours ending on Monday in the West Bank, the country"s Health Ministry revealed in a statement.

Based on a confirmation made by the Health Minister Mai al-Kaila, four more patients have succumbed to the most infectious disease, with the national death toll rising to 20 since the nation has been first hit by the pandemic.

It further included that the combined tally of patients who consider as active stands at 4,037.

The Palestinian government has renewed a lockdown across the West Bank and imposed strict measures and regulations, such as shuttering mosques, churches and private establishments, and banning public gatherings.
