Maldives records 11 coronavirus deaths

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives said that one more patient has died due to coronavirus in the country, which has increased the total number of COVID-19 deaths across the country.

The patient is a 77-year-old Maldivian woman who was put in the DH11 hospital and died on Sunday.

The has reported a total of 2,443 coronavirus cases, as the number of patients who have recovered from the disease were over 2,000 on Saturday, increasing the recovery rate in the country to 83 percent.

There are now 390 active coronavirus cases in the country, as 13 patients of them are receiving treatment in hospitals.
