Khaf-Herat railway to stumble upon flow by March 2021
(MENAFN) Mohammad Eslami Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister stated that that Khaf-Herat railway will turn out to be prepared before the end of the present Iranian agenda year (March 20, 2021).
Mehr news agency accounted that the minister declared that a part of the Khaf-Herat railway will be built by Iran whereas the lasting part will be built by neighboring Afghanistan.
Eslami highlighted that building process of the part associated to Iran is on the edge of conclusion.
Mohammad Eslami put the duration of the railway from boundary to Khaf city at 66km and stated that 'The significance of this giant project is that the railway in Afghanistan will be revived so that Afghanistan will be connected to Iran's national railway network as well as other parts of the world.'.
