Mongolia adds zero more cases of COVID-19, total remains at 220


(MENAFN) According to a statement issued on Saturday by the Mongolian National Center for Communicable disease (NCCD), the overall tally of patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus across the state has remained unchanged at 220, as no more cases were reported during the last 24-hour period.

At a regular news briefing, the NCCD's head Dulmaa Nyamkhuu revealed "A total of 557 tests for COVID-19 were conducted at four laboratories across the country yesterday and all of them were negative."

The combined figure of patients who have survived their deadly infection has jumped to 183, after 4 more recoveries were included in the past 24 hours, the official revealed.

Furthermore, the country has registered no cases of COVID-19 infection imported from China.
