1,749 more coronavirus infections reported in Iraq

The health ministry of Iraq said on Monday that 1,749 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, which has increased the total number of COVID-19 cases across Iraq to 47,151 as 1,852 more patients have recovered in the earlier 24 hours.
According to the ministry, 83 more patients have died due to the disease, which has increased the number of coronavirus deaths in the country to 1,839.
It added that 1,852 patients have recovered from the disease in the day, which has set the total number of coronavirus recoveries across the country to 22,974.
The newly diagnosed patients were detected after 11,172 conducted coronavirus tests across the country in the earlier 24 hours, as health authorities have carried out a total of 532,120 coronavirus tests in total across the country.
