44,942 COVID-19 cases reported in Kuwait


(MENAFN) According to a statement released by Kuwaiti Health Ministry, the overall figure of patients who have tested positive for the COVID-19 has jumped to 44,942, as 551 more cases were confirmed over the last 24 hours ending on Sunday, whereas in the meantime, the death toll from the merciless pandemic rose by four to 348.

The new cases included 341 Kuwaiti nationals, the statement said.

Currently, 9,100 patients are receiving treatment, including 149 in ICU, according to the statement.

The ministry also announced the recovery of 908 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 35,494.
