China to improve assistance of IPR

Officials of China have reached a decision to increase the intellectual property rights (IPR) assistance, in order to focus on helping small companies and firms in the exhibition and the commerce industries.

A guideline that was published by the National Intellectual Property Administration said that efforts are going to be increase to support the micro and medium sized companies in order to safeguard their legal rights, along with assisting IPR and are as well going to go into exhibition, e-commerce and other firms.

The guideline also urged developing abroad assistance services, and called for universities and social organizations to engage in IPR assistance.

The country has established a total of 31 IPR protection centers in recent years, 20 fast rights-protection centers along with 76 IPR assistance centers.
