290 total coronavirus infections in Myanmar

The health and sports ministry of Myanmar said on Sunday that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 290 as three more patients were diagnosed with the disease.

The release by the ministry said that the newly reported cases are patients who have recently came back from abroad and were placed in quarantine upon arriving from Qatar.

Data by the ministry showed that health authorities have conducted a total of 62,070 coronavirus tests as of Sunday as 5,712 patients remain under investigation for now.

The ministry added that 200 more patients have recovered from the infection for now.
