Kuwait announces 505 more positive COVID-19 infections, 7 new deaths


(MENAFN) On Sunday, 505 new infections of COVID-19 and seven more deaths were reported in Kuwait, lifting the tally of cases to 39,650 and the death toll to 326, the health Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry declared that new cases included 231 Kuwaiti nationals and 274 residents of other nationalities.

Currently, 8,084 patients are being offered treatment, with 186 in ICU, according to the statement.

The ministry also announced the recovery of 514 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 31,240.

Kuwait and China have been supporting each other and cooperated closely in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
