Total COVID-19 infections in Kyrgyzstan cross 3,000

Health authorities of Kyrgyzstan said on Sunday that 170 more coronavirus cases were reported in the country, increasing the total number of confirmed coronavirus patients in Kyrgyzstan stood at 3,151.
The official added that 2 more patients have died due to the disease in the country which has increased the number coronavirus deaths in the country to 37.
The official added that the epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan is still tense and an aggravation is possible, there are 528 patients still in hospitals, as 11 of them are in intensive care units.
The prime Minister of the country, Kubatbek Boronov, was quoted saying that "We must ensure the country's full readiness for a worsening of the epidemiological situation, as we see a daily growth in new COVID-19 cases".
