Two more COVID-19 infections reported in Mongolia

The National Center for Communicable disease (NCCD) of Mongolia announced on Sunday that two more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country in the earlier 24 hours, increasing the number of COVID-19 infections across the nation to 206.

Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, head of the NCCD, said during a press conference that "a total of 314 tests for COVID-19 were conducted across the country yesterday and two of them were positive".

According to the official, one of the newly diagnosed patients is a 66 years old driver from Russia who has recently came into Mongolia through the Altanbulag border point, the second case is an 80 years old Mongolia citizen who has recently came back from Europe.

All of the 206 confirmed coronavirus cases in Mongolia are returnees from abroad, largely from Russia, 139 patients out of the total confirmed have recovered from the disease so far.
