Rwanda to open accumulation classroom building to decrease excess numbers


(MENAFN) On Friday June 19 an official stated that the Rwandan Ministry of Education is to build 22,505 new classrooms countrywide to decrease excess numbers at primary and secondary schools.

Samuel Mulindwa Permanent Secretary of Rwanda Ministry of Education stated in a news briefing that supported by the government and the World Bank at the price of 218 billion Rwandan francs (228 million United States dollars), the production is supposed to be finished in September in advance of reviving of schools.

Samuel stated that 31,932 latrines will also be created along with classrooms, which were exposed requiring in a 2019 analysis.

Permanent Secretary stated that the ministry also diagrams to employ 29,000 more teachers and set 501,750 new desks, every class will address 23 desks for 46 students.
