Boronov appointed as new PM in Kyrgyzstan


(MENAFN) The candidacy of Kubatbek Boronov for the prime minister of Kyrgyzstan has been approved by the parliament of the country on Wednesday, which is going to make him the 31st prime minister of the country since it became independent.

Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, the ex prime minister of the country, has announced his resignation on Monday after he was accused of being corrupt in selling ratio frequencies, he was appointed as the prime minister back in April of 2018.

105 out of the total 120 parliament members have voted for Boronov as two voted against him, the structure, program and composition of the new government has also been approved by deputies.

Boronov has been the first vice prime minister earlier, before he was the head of the Emergencies ministry in the country, the parliamentary elections are set to take place in October of 2020.
