11 more positive COVID-19 cases diagnosed in Palestine


(MENAFN) The combined figure of patients who have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Palestine has amounted to 700, as 11 more cases were reported over the past 24 hours as of Wednesday in the West Bank, the country"s Health Ministry revealed in a statement.

As for prefecture, four of the new cases were found in Hebron, two in East Jerusalem, two in Ramallah and two in Bethlehem and one in Tulkarem, the Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila declared.

The health ministry further included that it temporarily imposed a shutting down in two sections in two hospitals in Hebron and Ramallah after some of the diagnosed patients visited them.

It also noted that the death toll stood at five while a total of 570 cases have recovered from the virus.
