Road crash in Myanmar results in 3 deaths


(MENAFN) The fire services department of Myanmar said in a release that a road crash that took place in Shan state of the country on Wednesday has resulted in the death of 3 people and left 13 others wounded.

According to the officials, the road crash took place in the town of Nawnghkio on Wednesday morning.

The bus has fallen from a mountainous road with 16 people on board, then it flipped over a break failure in the town of Gote road sector on the highway of Pyidaungsu at around 3:30 am of local time.

An official with Phyu Sin Myittar Social Development Organization who participated in the rescue mission said that "the whole body of the bus was seriously damaged in the mishap and operation of the road has resumed after rescue works".
