Afghanistan records 564 additional coronavirus infections

The public health ministry of Afghanistan said on Wednesday that 564 more coronavirus cases were reported in the country, increasing the total number of COVID-19 infections across Afghanistan to 26,874. .
A statement issued by the ministry said "a total of 1,126 tests were conducted within the past 24 hours, and 564 cases were positive for COVID-19 in 16 of Afghanistan's 34 provinces ".
A total of 504 coronavirus deaths took place since the outbreak of the virus in the country in February, as 13 of them happened in the earlier 24 hours.
6,158 out of the total coronavirus patients across the country have recovered from the disease with 650 of them recovering in the earlier 24 hours.
