Brunei adds one more COVID-19 related death, zero positive cases


(MENAFN) Over the past 24-hour period ending on Tuesday, the merciless coronavirus claimed the third life in Brunei since the country was first hit by the novel coronavirus on March 28.

The recent death was a 67-year-old local male, who was Case 122 of COVID-19 in Brunei and had been treated at the National Isolation Center since being diagnosed positive with COVID-19 on March 28, Brunei's Ministry of Health revealed.

Zero more positive COVID-19 cases or recoveries were reported on Tuesday, with the national tally of cases stayed unchanged at 141 and the total recovered cases at 138.

The ministry further included that no active cases are still receiving treatment at the National Isolation Center. Only 31 individuals are currently undergoing quarantine and a total of 2,792 individuals have completed their quarantine.
