Oman records 604 more coronavirus infections

The Omani Ministry of health proclaimed on Monday, June 8th 604 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported, increasing the total number of cases in the country to 17,486.
According to the information released by the ministry, all new cases, including 344 Omanis, are due to community contact.
In the meantime, 342 new patients have recovered from the virus, increasing the total recoveries to 3,793, while the death toll rose to 81 after six fatalities were added, the statement said.
The ministry urged the residents to abide by the procedures for quarantine and precautionary measures, such as avoiding public places or places of worship and ensuring public sanitization.
