Turkey developing financial package to support jobs

The treasury and finance minister of Turkey said on Friday tht the country is currently developing an employment shield package in order to support employment during the coronavirus economic fallout.

The official, Berat Albayrak, said that in the commercial capital of Turkey, Istanbul, that the employment issue is going to be on top of the normalization efforts of the country.

He was quoted saying that "For this package, being prepared by the Family, Labor and Social Services Ministry, we also are contributing as much as we can in coordination".

Adding that "We're doing work that will provide relief to the markets with a package we can call an employment shield".
